Water Shed
Surajgarh Watershed, Gogunda, Udaipur
This was the third year for NABARD assisted Surajgarh watershed Development project at Gogunda block. This year concentration of the activities was mainly on common lands, government forestlands and private lands. Project is being implemented by RBKS and the Village Watershed Committee (VWC) jointly implemented CBP part of this project, under the guidance of NABARD, Jaipur. DGM NABARD, Jaipur made a visit to Surajgarh and guided the team for further effectiveness.

The total area under the micro watershed is 1100 Ha. The project aims at integrated efforts in the development of natural resources, ensuring self-sufficient livelihood support system based on eco-friendly activities.
