Promotion of Appropriate Rural Technologies – Vermicomposting
With the active support of CAPART, Jaipur RBKS started a project on promotion of low cost sustainable agriculture promotion in Adkalia Cluster of Jhadol block. The project includes promotion of organic manure through vermicomposting technology. In this project vermicompost structures are developed with 100 families in 4 villages(Jotana, Parevi, Nalabada, and Godwara). Farmers are provided with complete package of technological training for proper up keeping and maintenance of the system. Farmers are regularly producing organic manure.

Under this project efforts will be directed towards initiation and development of 10 village Action Groups, improving their knowledge base, popularizing Low External Input Sustainable Agriculture techniques and activities to spread LIESA technologies. To replicate the SALT technology in tribal region of Ratlam and Jhabua dist. of Madhya Pradesh, RBKS is working with 10 partner NGOs from the region to promote the livelihood of the poor people and bring them in the main stream.
