Livelihood Improvement
In the South Rajasthan situation of natural resources (Land, water, livestock, agriculture) are poor, facing problem of low productivity and high degradation resulting into limited work opportunities. RBKS focus its intervention in reducing drudgery of poor household in specific areas; Agriculture Development; Water Resources Development; Land and Water Management and Environment Awareness Campaign
Ever since RBKS realized the dependence of tribal on the forest resources for survival and the state of degradation these resources are in more attention was paid to NRM focusing on developing the land and water resources, forest cover, agriculture etc. by using integrated watershed development approach involving participation of the local inhabitants. It has built confidence and developed a trust in the communities. The integrated nature of RBKS approach to watershed.

NRM (Natural Resource Management)
The organization believes that development of people is possible by involving them in the process of their own development; thus all RBKS programmes are focussed on a community-based approach to development where people are the primary stakeholders. In the year 1991 with a small support from caritas India and CAPART it started moving into NRM sector. Following table list down the projects it has involved during the tenure of 12 years in NRM.
